Working the board
- Edit any label
- Click the title, a stage header, or a row label and type. Long stage names shrink to fit.
- Add a note
- Hover a cell → + Note. One idea per note. An empty note removes itself.
- Color a note
- Click its dot to cycle the card color. Decide with the room what each color means, and color as you go so patterns surface.
- Spotlight a stage
- Hover a stage header → click ◎. Other stages dim; your row lenses stay visible. Esc exits.
- Reorder stages
- Drag the ⋮⋮ grip on a stage header. Notes travel with their column.
- Add / remove
- Toolbar adds stages and rows; hover any header for its ×. Deletes don’t confirm — Undo has you.
- Undo
- Ctrl/Cmd+Z, 50 steps. The trail resets on page reload; the board doesn’t.
Saving & sharing
- Auto-save
- The board saves itself to this browser. It won’t follow you to another device.
- Save / Open file
- The portable copy. Save at the end of every session; open it anywhere later.
- Export
- Downloads CSV + Markdown for synthesis. Colored notes keep a color tag: [green], [red], [gold].
- Print / PDF
- Controls hide automatically; you get a clean grid for handouts.
A flow that works
- Frame it (5 min): walk the arc; let the room rename or reorder stages first.
- One stage at a time: spotlight it, then run the five lenses top to bottom.
- Capture fast: short phrases, one idea per note, color in the moment.
- Zoom out: Esc, scan the reds, ask “where do we act first?”
- Before anyone leaves: Save file + Export.
If the board looks stale or wrong: you may have opened an older downloaded copy — downloads don’t overwrite, they stack up. Open the newest file.
